We are thrilled to bring you some incredible news from our last few months of development! Despite our radio silence on our dev blog, Paleo Pines has been achieving major milestones and making waves in the gaming community. We couldn’t have done it without your unwavering support and enthusiasm!

Let’s dive right into the exhilarating progress we’ve made over the past few months. With your support, Paleo Pines has taken the gaming world by storm, skyrocketing through the ranks on Steam’s wishlist rankings. We are humbled and delighted to share that our game has climbed an astonishing 150 spots in the rankings in just six weeks! As one of thousands of games released on Steam each year, this is an achievement that fills us with immense pride.
During the esteemed London Games Festival, we unveiled a longer gameplay video, allowing you to get
a longer glimpse into the captivating world of Paleo Pines. The response was overwhelming, and the
positive feedback we received was truly heartwarming. After spending years in development and keeping
the game very close to our hearts, we were trepedacious to start sharing it with the world.
One of our animators, Yazz, summed up our feelings quite accurately.
It’s definitely a little scary! When you’ve spent such a long time working on a project in a small team, it’s overwhelming when suddenly so many people are seeing it and thousands are counting down to it’s release! Our community, however, are so encouraging and kind that they make the whole process of revealing the game a joy to be a part of, and now I can’t wait to see what they all think of Paleo Pines!
We understand the importance of building a thriving and engaged community, and that’s why we’ve been investing even more effort into connecting with you through various social channels. Your enthusiasm and excitement have been infectious, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
On April 26, we took a significant step forward by releasing the official announcement trailer for Paleo Pines. This pivotal moment not only revealed the consoles on which the game will be available but also stirred up immense curiosity and anticipation within the gaming community and among content creators.
To strengthen our connection with you, we’ve been actively engaging in livestreams and interactive sessions on platforms like TikTok, Twitch and Discord. These interactions have been invaluable in gathering your feedback, addressing your queries, and ensuring that you’re well-informed about the game’s progress. Your insights have played a crucial role in shaping the experience of Paleo Pines, and we are deeply grateful for your participation.
But that’s not all! We recently conducted playtesting for Paleo Pines, and the results have been overwhelmingly positive. There’s still a lot of work to be done, but with more than 69% of playtesters voluntarily investing over 10 hours into the gameplay, we were more than just a little relieved that what we’ve built is providing a positive experience . Your dedication and enthusiasm have further fueled our passion to deliver a game that hopefully meets your expectations.
Wow, the past 6 weeks have been a flurry of excitement and progress! It’s been a blast to witness the
game being embraced by our incredible playtesters, who are loving it. Their enthusiasm for finding bugs
and positive feedback fill me and the team with unstoppable motivation. And let’s not forget the amazing
energy on social media with the kindest and most dino-crazy community.I am totally blown away by the
fantastic suggestions for dino colours that poured in from all corners. Can’t wait for us to share this game

The success of the gameplay video, the enthusiastic response on social channels, the impact of the announcement trailer, and the engaging livestreams and interactive sessions have all contributed to the growth and development of Paleo Pines. We are immensely proud of the dedicated and passionate community that has rallied behind us.
Now, for some truly exciting news! We are thrilled to announce that Paleo Pines has secured listings in major retailers, including Walmart, Target, Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. This is a mindblowing achievement for a small indie studio in Northern Ireland. This means that the world of Paleo Pines will soon reach a wider audience, sharing the joy and wonder of our game with players across the globe.
We couldn’t have achieved all of this without the support of our amazing community, and we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. Your passion for Paleo Pines has been our driving force, and we can’t wait to embark on this extraordinary journey together.

Having worked on Paleo Pines for almost the entirety of my 3D career, it is a project that holds a very
special place in my heart. Seeing the reach the game has had and the excitement in the community
already fills me with so much pride and I am super excited for everyone to get to know these characters
and dinos, and to explore the world I’ve been a part of. Paleo Pines is more than just a game, it is a
